Breastfeeding/Postpartum Event: Bamboobies *review & #giveaway*

I am proud to be a breastfeeding mama. I must admit...breastfeeding is not easy. It starts off very painful...but after about one week, the contractions stop coming and after about 2 weeks, the nipple pain subsides as well. One thing that never ends (for me at least) is milk leakage. During each feeding, as I am nursing from one breast, the other will leak a bit. I ALWAYS wear breastpads, throughout my whole nursing experience so washable nursing pads are convenient, less expensive and in this case, even cuter!

I received a pair of regular Bamboobies, washable~reusable breast pads, for a review. Bamboobies are super cute, heart shaped breast pads that can be reused over and over. On top of the cute, unique shape, they are so soft, made of certified bamboo and cotton velour. They are thinner than any washable breast pad I have used before, even thinner than any disposable breast pad I have ever used!

I haven't had any leaks with these and they are softer than ever, after many washes!! They are just the right size and fit nicely into my regular bra, as well as my nursing bra.

This is definitely a must have product for breastfeeding mamas. Also a perfect gift for a baby shower!

Baby #4, Janetsy Marie Gonzalez is here! :)

Hi friends!!I am so excited to share some news :) Baby girl #4 arrived on November 8, 2012 at 11:47 am. She weighed 7lbs 14 oz and measured 19 &1/2 inches long. After a 5 hour labor, our sweet princess entered the world. I'd like to share some pictures of my labor/delivery & new baby. 

We named her Janetsy Marie Gonzalez.

We will start with a picture of me in active labor, between contractions of course.

Here is me and my wonderful laboring partner, my awesome husband. This was also taken during labor, between contractions.
