A couple weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to review a Baltic Amber Teething Necklace from Baltic Amber Baby. I have to admit, I was skeptical about this product. A necklace that helps with teething??? I never used anything like this with my first two babies. But my 7 month old(BuBu) is teething and I NEED to help her in some way! I gave it a try....

BuBu started teething at 6 & 1/2 months old. She went from the happiest baby in the world to the crankiest! She began not sleeping through the night..waking up at least 3 times each night. She started getting fevers and drooling constantly. I was giving her Tylenol every 4-6 hours but the fever would not go away completely. I offered her chilled damp wash cloths, but she wasn't interested. I felt so bad for her. And I felt like there was nothing else I could do. Until, I came across Baltic Amber Baby on Facebook. It arrived at the perfect time. BuBu was now getting two more teeth on the top and her crankiness was to the max!! She had 4 teeth coming in at the same time! Poor baby, I know :(

I was sent the Butter Bean necklace. I put it on her right away. I waited...hoping it would help her immediately. I didn't see a change withing the first hour. Still cranky and I couldn't comfort her at all. I was not discouraged though. I knew the process of the oils absorbing into her skin wouldn't happen so quick. After about an hour, I noticed she seemed much happier. She wasn't crying. I was amazed! That night, I wrapped the necklace around her ankle and put a sock over it to keep in place.(as directed) She did wake up once but I fed her and she went right back to sleep. I am sure it was because of the teething necklace! She hadn't slept that good in weeks!  On a side note...she hasn't had a single fever since she started wearing her necklace. She wears it every day and almost every night. Overall, I would recommend using a Batlic Amber Teething Necklace. Great alternative to medicines!
