The Little Green Bird Ai2 Cloth Diaper *Review and #Giveaway! US 8/5

I have had the pleasure of trying out a WAHM diaper, made by The Little Green Bird. I was sent an Ai2 Diaper in Michael Miller Guitars print. OMGosh...the print is so awesome and so much cooler than all my other printed diapers.

An Ai2 Diaper consists of two pieces, the diaper itself, or sometimes known as the outer shell, and the insert, that lays right inside of the diaper. I only have a couple Ai2's, so being able to review one was a pleasure. To be honest, it gets tiring having to stuff 15-20 pocket diapers at a time. No stuffing required with this Ai2!

 Putting the diaper on baby is quick and easy. Lay the insert inside the diaper and fasten the diaper to baby with the snaps.

 This is the diaper set to the smallest setting(above). It looks as if it would fit a baby that weigh no less than 10 lbs. I really don't see this fitting a newborn.

Here is the diaper set to the largest setting (pictured above).

I use the middle/medium setting on BuBu and she weighs 24 lbs. There is plenty more room for her to grow seeing it has the large setting. This diaper will surely last till she is completely potty trained. Speaking of potty training, I have been *trying* to potty train her over the past couple weeks. The snaps on this diaper are very strong, and do not unfasten easily. I can pull this diaper down, like I would underwear and right back up after she goes potty and I don't even have to re-snap it. A pet peeve for me is loose snaps, the ones where baby can pull off their own diaper...that is not this diaper at all.

 Another thing I'd like to point out is the fabric used. The outer fabric, obviously very fashionable, is soft and very vibrant. It has faded a little, but I dry my diapers in the sun most of the time and I am sure that has a lot to do with the fading. It still has lots of color, considering how many washes it has been through, and feels as soft as new. The photo's in this review are very recent. This is how the diaper looks now. The inner fabric is a purple microchamois...best way for me to describe it is similar to fleece. The insert is 3 layers of heavy organic bamboo fleece.

This diaper is very absorbent! We have not had any leaks during the day or at nap time. I have not tested this diaper out at bed time, it's too cute for her to sleep in! I like to see her running around in this super cute print!
