GlassDharma Straws *Review* and $25 GC #Giveaway!

Allow me to introduce you to GlassDharma, the original glass straw company. Most of you know that I am an eco-friendly mama and I love to try new products that are good for the earth, and my family. One of the many ways I am being eco-friendly, is using glass straws, instead of plastic ones. Imagine how many plastic straws get dumped into landfills, it grosses me out. I am excited to bring you a review for GlassDharma straws. My family received four glass straws, different sizes/designs. 

 *PACKAGING*

The straws were packages very carefully, but with little packing supply. 

The box I received contained four individually boxed straws with just a piece of newspaper to hold the boxes in place during transport. I love a company that will put efforts like this, to make sure they are contributing little, to no extra waste. I recycled every bit that you see here~ except we are reusing the straws everyday!

My family loves our glass straws! We use them almost daily and if we are planning on going out to eat, we take them along and use them there instead of the restaurants plastic straws. I feel like we are making a difference and I am happy to say, it is a fun and easy way to be green!

GlassDharma use to make colored glass straws as well, but the colored glass came from China and did not meet their standards. You can read more about their reasoning here.

One more thing I'd like to point out is GlassDharma's guarantee. GlassDharma offers a lifetime guarantee against breakage. For any reason(besides intentional damage), your GlassDharma Straw breaks, they will gladly offer a replacement if they are not able to restore your broken one to it's original condition. The straws are super easy to take care of. They are dishwasher safe and can be washed by hand as well, with a glass straw cleaning brush. The cleaning brushes are inexpensive but do have to be purchased separate from the straws.
