Sunbaby Cloth Diapers is a company owned by a wife and husband, parents of a sweet little boy. They make and sell pocket cloth diapers at a very reasonable price.
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review one of their cloth diapers in "doll" print.
I love the print! It is so cute and different from all my other cloth diapers! Sunbaby Cloth Diapers currently have 19 different colors/prints to choose from! They are all so cute...you will want at least one of each when you see them!! A good selection for both boys and girls...ahh...I love a good selection!
The diaper I received came with two very soft inserts. The pocket opening is quite large and features a flap that closes and helps keep the insert from sliding out. I particularly love this feature when it comes time to pull the insert out for washing. This feature makes it easy to stuff and remove the insert. The flap also prevents leakage.
Another great Sun Baby Cloth Diaper feature is the hip snaps! This is a must have feature for both skinny and chunky babies! All babies are shaped different. BuBu has a plump belly and her thighs are pretty chunky too. Some babies are opposite...some babies are teeny tiny. Using the waist snaps, I get a good fit on BuBu waist, then I can adjust the hip snaps to a loser setting, to get a better fit on her thighs.
The material on the inside of the diaper is a super soft micro-fleece. This material helps wick away moisture from baby's skin and is very soft to the touch.
My Review
Do they leak?
Leak issues are one of my worst battles when it comes to cloth. I don't have stink issues, I don't have rash issues...I have leak issues. I have used this diaper multiple times, at least five times, and have not experienced a leak yet. She has even napped with this diaper (stuffed with 2 inserts) and the diaper did a great job keeping the pee contained. No leaks so far and I am confident there wont be any in the future.
This diaper keeps the poo contained as well. It has such a snug fit around the legs and waist, no poo could escape...not even the liquidy poo!
Sizing
Sun Baby Cloth Diapers offer two different sizes for their One-Sized Diapers. Size 1 is best for smaller(newborns)or thinner babies. Size 2 is best for larger or chunkier babies. There is only a slight difference in size as you can see in this photo(below).
The Cost
At Sun Baby Cloth Diapers, you can purchase packages in 6, 12 or 24. The prices are amazing!! To give you an idea, here are some of the package deals...

6 Diapers + 12 Inserts = $45
Package #2
12 Diapers + 12 Inserts = $60
Package #3
24 Diapers + 24 Inserts = $108
Although you can only buy packages of 6 or more, this is definitely a great investment, seeing you would typically pay $20 for just one diaper at other companies!
What would I change?
I can honestly say, I don't think there is anything I would change about these diapers.
No leaks, no chemicals, cute prints, great price = AWESOME DIAPER!(and company!)
Some people worry about the start-up cost for cloth diapering. I know if they chose Sunbaby Cloth Diapers, they would not break the bank OR be disappointed. I WILL definitely recommend Sunbaby Cloth Diapers to my readers and friends!
