I was sent a variety of Artisana products to review. One 8oz glass container of Organic Cacoa Bliss, one 8oz glass container of Organic Coconut Butter and 10 of their squeeze packs in all of their flavors. (one is not pictured because I got into it before taking the picture)
I instantly fell in love with their products once I tried the Pecan Butter with Cashews! I cut a "V" shape out of my banana, going from one side to the other, and filled it with the Pecan Butter. I then sliced the banana in bite sized pieces and served it just like that. YUM!!
It was absolutely delish..a wonderful chunky texture! So much better than our typical peanut butter and banana. SOOO Much Better!! My husband, my 2 year old and I really enjoyed this snack.
I used the Cacao Bliss(raw chocolate coconut butter) for "frosting" on some sugar cookies. It converted a sugar cookie into a chocolate coconut cookie! It was incredible! You really only need a tad bit to enjoy the flavor of the Cacao Bliss. A little goes a long way with flavor...tastes like coconut with a touch of chocolate. Which was the opposite of what I was expecting. We heated it, in the jar, to make it spreadable.(it does state on the jar, it is solid at room temperature)
We also spread the Cacao Bliss onto a piece of whole wheat bread. Healthy and yummy!
Although it was superb, I think we will add some bananas next time to calm down the flavor. It's pretty intense!
I found myself getting creative with the squeeze packs. I made a Cashini Butter and jelly sandwich. A lot different from the regular PB& J. The Cashini Butter has such a rich flavor! This one was very creamy and did not have chunks.
My favorite nut is Macadamia. Since I love them so much, I decided to eat that one straight out of the packet. There are also cashews in this one. I was not disappointed at all! It's amazing what Artisana has packed into those little pouches. So much flavor and so fresh!
