Almondina Cookies *Review* and #Giveaway! US 7/23

This all-natural, crispy almond cookie has no cholesterol and no added fat, salt, or preservatives. It is wonderfully crunchy and does not have to be dipped. It is a delightful accompaniment for coffee, tea, soft cheeses and fine light wines. The rush to eliminate fat from gourmet foods too often has also eliminated most of the flavor, a fact which is in sharp contrast to this enticingly delicious cookie.*Info taken directly from the Almondina website

I had the opportunity to review a variety of Almondina Cookies. Uh, let me think...YES, please! I don't know about you, but I love cookies...especially the healthy ones. I received 8 different packages, all different flavors.
I dived into the package of Chocolate Cherry. I LOVE chocolate and dried cherries are a fave too. My mouth filled with flavor as I bit into my first bite. These cookies are quite crunchy and very delicious! These were a big hit in my house...everyone loved them. I was hesitant to give them to my 18 month old, since they are on the crunchy side, but I finally gave in and she did great. I think these were very helpful for her teething stage..her drool helped soften them up and she was able to eat them with no problems. Surprisingly, she did not make too much of a mess with them either.

I'd have to say my absolute favorite was the Original. The Original (pictured above) has lots of nuts and raisins, a great combination...especially for a cookie. My least favorite~ the Gingerspice. I personally didn't like these too much, but everyone else seemed to love them.
They aren't thick, they are thin. They go great with a nice warm cup of coffee in the morning, and are also a great midnight snack with a cup of milk.

I brought a package of the Sesame and a package of the AlmonDuo to RED School at my church the day I signed up to bring snacks. All that was left when it was time to go was a few crumbs and the plastic trays. I think they liked them! :)

Almondina cookies are simple, yet delish and nutritious. They are all natural, have no added fat or salt, no cholesterol or preservatives.
