Once I had all of the curls in place, the rest of my styling routine was so much easier.  I could comb or brush through my hair easier and not one snarl or tangle was left behind.  My hair felt touchable soft instead of crunchy like many curling irons will do.  And even though my hair felt soft, it held the curl and stayed picture perfect all day.  The shine to my hair was such an added surprise as I dye my hair often and have not seen my hair this shiny in years. Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color *Review*

While at Walmart the other day, I noticed a new product from Sally Hansen. I am already a fan of their nail polish...but the nail polish I just discovered was something new...something I have never seen. Sally Hansen introduced an awesome way to design your plain nail polish with a ripple look, without difficulty.

I guess this has become quite popular already, because they were sold out of every color except the purple. 

I bought the polar purple magnetic nail color :)

I admit, I am such a dork...when I saw this was a magnetic nail polish, I expected metal things to want to cling to your nails when you had it on.lol I know...laugh all you want! It is actually a nail polish that you apply and while drying, you place a magnet (included) near it for 10 seconds and it creates a neat ripple look.

I have been waiting for a day to finally get to sit down, and treat myself to this new product. That day hasn't happened. I decided to do my 7 year old daughters nails. She expected the nail polish to be magnetic too, so when she saw what happened when we removed the magnet from on top of the nail, her jaw dropped! We both were amazed at how awesome (and easy to use) this product is!

 Keep in mind this is my first time using it. If you look closely, there are some minor flaws.

One complaint that I have to point out is the size or structure of the magnet. It is a bit small, so on her larger nails, it was hard to get the effect on the whole nail. I found myself moving the magnet side to side, to try and even it out. I think it would be great if this had a contoured magnet! I'd like to see more colors too! Although they have 8 colors, I'd like to see some lighter, not so bold colors.

The polish dries pretty quick, which is an awesome feature in my book! :)

In 2004, we got pregnant with our 1st little girl, Destiny. My husband, just a boyfriend at the time, had a 3 year old son, Cameron. Although we had a very rocky relationship, we stuck together and became a family. 

We did not get married until after our second daughter, Marlee was born, in 2009. Marlee was our ring girl at 4 months old and Destiny was our flower girl at 4 years old. This was a moment we cherish, because my husband's grandmother was there for our wedding. She passed a week later but we are ever so grateful that she got to be there for our wedding. It made her so proud! A year later, we found out we were pregnant with another girl! We named her Juliani.

PottyCovers~Disposable Toilet Seat Covers for Kids *Review & #Giveaway * US/Can 7/8

Most of my readers know, I am not a fan of disposable anything. I like to be "green" in every way possible, but there are some products that are not "green" are worth a shot. 

I had the opportunity to review a pack of 6 disposable potty covers. These potty covers are for use on public toilets. Although I try my best to steer away from having to use public restrooms, it is inevitable. I have three little ones who always end up having to "go" while out and about. I am a bit of a germ freak and public restrooms really gross me out. I am constantly telling my kids "Don't touch anything!!"

I have carried this pack of disposable potty covers in my purse for a couple weeks now and I have used two. Since using public restrooms doesn't happen too often, I don't use many PottyCovers. I do feel a bit guilty though, for contributing to piles of waste, but I feel a lot better about my little one's being protected from nasty germs from who knows who!

The PottyCovers cover basically the whole toilet seat (pictured above). I love that it has the two side flaps, where kids would hold on to normally, to keep balance. I can imagine, this is where most of the germs are picked up by toddlers/children. They are soft and waterproof, so no wetness from underneath, can get on your little ones.

I think these would be great for road trips and I do believe they are just as good for adults.

Mastrad Chocolate Fondue Set *Review*

I am a chocolate lover. I don't think there is actually a kind of chocolate that I do not love. I like to eat chocolate any time of day, week, or month!

I was sent Mastrad's Chocolate Fondue Set for a review. Ahh...just the thought of this made me jump for joy! I started imagining all the things I could dip in chocolate...bananas, cookies, marshmallows, raisins...oh the possibilities!
The Fondue Kit that I received contained everything I needed to get started, EXCEPT the chocolate!

I had a hard time finding a chocolate that was good for fondue. I tried a couple different ones and it just didn't melt right, or burnt...my first experiences were not very good. Finally, I found a chocolate at Kroger that is made just for Fondue! 

 Set includes: 1 fondue bowl, 1 candle and 4 forks

 I added a few chunks of chocolate and lit the candle...

 After 10 minutes... (me and my three girls waited patiently)

 After 20 minutes...(still waiting patiently)

Wha-la! After 30 minutes...the fondue was ready for dippin'! We all dipped orange slices, grapes, raisins and marshmallows! YUM!

 BuBu getting her marshmallow ready for a dip in chocolate(the forks are pretty sharp so I had to watch her close)...

 MooMoo extremely excited as she dips her orange slice...

I think marshmallows were MooMoo's favorite :)

Now that I know the right chocolate to buy, we have been enjoying our fondue set a lot! It seems to be a favorite activity around this house. It's fun, yum and can get pretty messy. But oh so worth it...look at that smile!

The fondue bowl is very easy to clean. I just ran it under hot water and the chocolate melted right off. The forks are easy to clean as well.

It literally took me an hour to find which item I liked best...I finally chose the Black and Purple Taffeta Style Corset Dress.

I received my Corset Dress in a flash (like less than a week) and tried it on immediately.
To be honest, I have never worn a corset before. I always expected them to be mighty uncomfortable. I imagined they would make it hard to breath, since they are tight around the ribs. To my surprise, the corset that I reviewed was pretty flexible and comfortable. There are steel busks closures in the front and laces in the back, so you can get a great fit for your figure. My hips appreciated this feature ;)
