Green Resolutions~ Sponsor Spotlight: Bummas cloth wipes *Review*

As a mama trying to be on the "greener" side, I use lots of reusable products. It is important to me that my family is throwing away the minimal amount each week so I try, in every way, to be green.
Making the switch to cloth is one of the best choices I have ever made. I only wish I would have done it sooner. I started by switching to cloth diapers and I was still using disposable wipes. Soon after, I decided to try cloth wipes. I am so glad I did!

I had the opportunity to review a pack of Bummas cloth wipes.
I was sent The Wild Ones.

Bummas cloth wipes are made of 100% cotton~Woven Velour Terry Cloth. One side is very smooth and soft and the other has the texture of a towel. That makes these wipes very versatile. I have used the soft side for wiping my babies sore, boogery noses and patting off previously wet-wiped bums. The textured side is great for the dirtier jobs. I like to use this side when cleaning sticky hands and faces and of course, a poopie bottom.

These cloths measure 5x7, which may seem a bit small, but they get the job done. Although we mostly use these for the babies, I have found even another way they are useful. For myself! At times, I use these instead of toilet paper! I must say, these dry much better and leave nothing behind(like some toilet paper's do) Some might think that is gross, but I assure you, you wont feel that way once you use them for yourself. (~For the record, I use these for #1 only :)
Bummas wipes are so easy to care for. They get tossed in the diaper pail and washed with the diapers. I have been using them for about a month now and they have been washed a ton of times. They have not shrunk or pilled and they are still super soft, just like when I received them.

Bummas Cloth Wipes come in 5 different color variations.
  • The Girls~ you guessed it...pinks and purples
  • The Boys~ blues and greens
  • The Tropical Ones~ bright and colorful
  • The Calm Ones~ earthy browns and greens
  • The Wild Ones~ one of each color, just for fun

  2. Such great colors! I just started using cloth wipes in July, and then started using cloth for everything else in my house. Like cleaning out my cast iron pans, dusting, cleaning up messes, and I now use cloth napkins, too! Cloth does so much more than paper ever could (like cleaning greasy fingers) lol

  10. I like that both sides are different. Like you said, sometimes you want something really soft, sometimes, you need something with more texture to get the job done!

  17. These are such a great idea, we have used cloth diapers but not wipes. This would be a great way to make sure the babies aren't getting chemicals from wipes.
