*Review* Get your laundry clean with Eco Nuts !!

My first thoughts about Eco Nuts were "I wonder if they have a scent"...Will they get out baby food stains" and "Can they take the stink out of my hubby's work clothes". Yes, All of those thoughts came to mind.
I was sent a sample of Eco Nuts Organic Laundry Detergent to review.
Inside my sample, there were 5 nut shells that were dried up and had no scent. A couple of them were cracked but I am sure that didn't make them less effective. The Eco Nuts came with a little bag. You throw the nuts in the bag and then toss in the wash. How convenient!
Eco Nuts can also be used on cloth diapers! Well, I cloth diaper and I was dying to see if these nuts would leave my diapers smelling clean. I decided to use my Eco Nuts on my baby's clothes before the cloth diapers.I washed her clothes like I normally would but used the Eco Nuts instead of the regular detergent. I didn't add liquid fabric softener because I wasn't sure if it would affect the nuts. After the wash cycle was complete, I threw the laundry in the dryer(it was an ugly day outside or perhaps I would have dried them on the line). Her clothes came out feeling soft and had no scent really. I added a dryer sheet and put them back in for 5 minutes.(I like our clothes to smell like Snuggle fresh!)
Next, I used the Eco Nuts on my Hubby's stinky work clothes. His clothes really stink after a hard day painting in the sun. Although the nuts did not get the paint out(which never happens no matter what detergent I use), they DID get the stink out! I used the same wash/dry routine I used with BuBu's clothes.
For the last test, I used my Eco Nuts on BuBu's cloth diapers. I washed 10 diapers, 15 inserts and 12 cloth wipes in one load and threw in the bag of (5)soap nuts. I washed once with cold water, then with hot and rinsed once. I'd usually rinse twice when I use my other detergent but I felt like they didn't need the extra rinse with the Eco Nuts. There was no soap to rinse out! I saved a full load of water using my Eco Nuts! That's awesome!! The Eco Nuts left my diapers clean and stink free. Feels good to not have to worry about detergent build up on my diapers! The sample I received was for about 10 loads. I was able to use them 12 times and they were starting to disintegrate. I returned them to the earth :)

I learned a lot from the Eco Nuts Website. Here are some of the most important things I learned that I think you should know about...
